Abstract:
In this article Mr. Clinton introduces the concept of mentoring, relating it to resiliency, and outlines five characteristics that make up an effective mentoring relationship. Mr. Clinton is also the author of our second article, titled "Setting Up a School-Based Mentoring Program." In this article, Mr. Clinton outlines twelve steps for starting a school-based mentoring program, from establishing the need, to recruiting mentors, to evaluating the process.
