Abstract:
Studies have found that use rates range around 34-39% among professional baseball players, and around 57% among National Collegiate Athletic Association baseball players. In this article Dr. Walsh and colleagues discuss their cross sectional study on the prevalence, patterns, and correlates of spit tobacco use in a sample of high school baseball athletes.
