Dr. Donna Schuurman is the author of 'Never the Same: Coming to Terms with the Death of a Parent' and the executive director of The Dougy Center for Grieving Children. In this article she answers a number of questions posed about grieving teens, including questions about the healthy grieving process for adolescents, the best ways to help a grieving teenager, teens feeling guilty when a friend dies, and rituals or ceremonies that may be helpful to adolescents in the grieving process.
