Abstract:
The reviewers of Child Abuse and Culture, Leslie Davidson and John de Miranda, found it to provide "a comprehensive presention of complex cultural issues with abundant examples drawn from [the author's] experience as a psychologist, educator, and researcher." Building on their own experiences as therapists, the reviewers provide a comprehensive evaluation of this book, which they found to "deal with difficult and complicated subjects" in an "easy to read and understand" manner.
