In her review, although Jacqueline Golding expressed many concerns about this book, she notes that “In spite of [its] limitations, Coming Out, Coming In, has a great deal to offer and will be a helpful resource to many adults working with LGBT youth.” She goes on to note that “few books address the concerns of adults who are at a loss as to how to supoprt LGBT young people.”
