Abstract:

As noted in her introduction, reviewer Faedra Lazar Weiss tell us that Understanding Peer Influence in Children and Adolescents is broken into 11 chapters, each of which stands alone and also provides unique insights into “peer influence mechanisms” (Part II), “moderators and interventions” that can affect peer influence (PartI III), and “underexplored contexts” of peer influence (Part IV). Though she felt the scholarly tone of the chapters might by “daunting,” Ms. Weiss feels that Understanding Peer Influence is useful and will be informative to anyone interested in working with children and youth.
