Over the past five years, the topics of teen stress, depression, and suicide have all been covered within The Prevention Researcher. With more than 1 in 4 students in the latest Youth Risk Behavior Survey reporting feeling sad or helpless almost every day for two or more weeks in a row, and 1 in 6 reporting seriously considering attempting suicide in the 12 months preceding the survey, these are topics which definitely need to remain a focus of our attention. This Resource Issue is devoted to the continuum of adolescent stress, depression, and suicide.

Adolescents have high rates of both suicide and non-suicidal self-injury. While self-injury is not a suicide attempt (and vice versa), the behaviors have a complex relationship. At the same time, many people who work with youth have difficulty distinguishing between the two. This bundle includes information specifically about suicide and self-injury, so that those who work with youth will be better able to provide prevention and intervention, as well as support youth and their families through these difficult times. All for only $24.00
